Interactive Media Signage
SPIEGEL PILLAR is an Interactive Smart Mirror Pillar Installation installed at the Hyundai Department Store Trade Center. Hyundai Department Store’s Trade Center store was planning a space for new brand customer experience, breaking away from the old image accumulated during its 20-year operation, and SPIEGEL PILLAR was designed as a multi-functional medium to meet these needs.
The SPIEGEL PILLAR is installed in two columns on the front of the escalator on the first floor to ensure the highest user accessibility at the same time. We wanted to mirror the exterior of the column and position the media on three sides of the column to deliver the identity of Hyundai Department Store in full, while leaving the identity of the Hyundai Department Store intact.
Sense-able Mirror mode is a content that delivers visual identity of a department store, consisting of three themes (dots, lines, and faces) that respond to customer movements.
Info-Graphics mode provides interactive message to the weather, time and customer in real time.
AD mode presents ads in the form of images and images.
The three modes provide a dynamic definition of operating and exposure times through the Contents management system.
